【観光：兵庫県神戸市】　神戸北野異人館　異国情緒たっぷり神戸異人館と蓬莱の海老しゅうまい／Kobe Kitano Ijinkan: Kobe Ijinkan with exotic atmosphere and Hourai’s Ebi Shumai (shrimp dumpling)

２０年以上前の話ですが、阪神大震災で立ち直れないくらいにボロボロになってしまった神戸。
よくここまでがんばったと思い訪れた時には少し涙がぽろっとでてしまいました。本当にがんばったと思います。

この神戸は港街ですので昔からたくさんの外国人が居留しています。
京都にも外国人がたくさんいるのですが、そのほとんどは観光客で数週間でいなくなってしまいます。

 

しかしこの神戸にいる外国人はステーキハウスを経営したり、
貿易会社を築いたりと日本には観光ではなく、夢を求めてやってきています。

お店に行くと店員さんが外国人というのはよくある話です。
このように異国情緒たっぷりの神戸で過ごす休日はなかなか面白い物があります。

昔日本が鎖国から解放され、大勢の外国人が日本へやってきました。
当然神戸、横浜、札幌の港街に外国人が集まりました。

 

神戸でも多くの外国人達が貿易等の取引の為に日本を訪れます。
そして領事館や大使館、貿易会社の社長が日本に家を構えるようになりました。

日本の建物とは違ったレンガ作りの洋風の建物が立ち並ぶのがこの北野異人館です。

 

 

地震のダメージはあった物の上手く修復され、
当時のそのままの状態が再現されている観光スポットです。

 

敷地内に入ると外国の官僚の家、貿易商の家等が何十件も立ち並び、
赤毛のアンの時代の生活様式がそのまま再現されています。

 

坂道が多いのでハイヒール等はおやめください。

履いていくととんでもないことになりますので、
必ずスニーカー着用で行かれることをお勧めします。

 

敷地内に入るとそこは異国の世界。日本のいつも見慣れている風景とは違った風景が目にはいります。
レンガ作り、白板作りの建物が並びます。

 

 

家の中へ入ると、暖炉、聖書、洋食器、キルト、
ロッキングチェアー等赤毛のアンの時代に使われていた道具が目にはいります。

 

 

 

 

そして帰りに買って帰るお土産はもちろん蓬莱アイテム。
蓬莱というのは神戸を初め日本全国に網羅を張る中華料理のお店の名前です。

神戸では各駅にこの蓬莱のお持ち帰りのお店があるのですが、
誰もが列を作り買い求める程の勢いで、その味も絶品です。肉まん、餃子、シュウマイ等がメインなのですが、
その中でも海老しゅうまいは絶品の味でお土産には最適です。

 

 

本当は蒸し立ての熱いうちに食べるのがいいのですが、冷めても自宅に電子レンジがあれば再び美味しく食べることができます。

餃子とシュウマイをセットにしたコラボ商品等も人気があります。

 

神戸異人館で異国情緒を楽しんだ後は中華でお腹を膨らすというのが神戸でのメジャーな遊び方と言えるでしょう。

In Kobe, there is a takeaway store of Hourai at each station.
Everyone is lining up to buy them, and the taste is exquisite. The main items are steamed meat buns, gyoza (dumplings), shaomai (Chinese dumplings), and so on.
Among them, the shrimp dumplings are the best tasting and most suitable for souvenirs.

It is best to eat them while they are still hot, but if you have a microwave oven at home, you can enjoy them again even after they have cooled down.

Collaboration products that combine gyoza and shaomai are also popular.

After enjoying the exotic atmosphere of the Kobe Ijinkan, a major way to have fun in Kobe is to fill up on Chinese food.
